Crescent Beach Photography Club
Hello Crescent Beach Photography Club members:
Summer is almost over and its time to start planning for our September start date. Your executive
has developed an excellent program for the Fall.
We start on September 7 with Allen Bargen - an excellent photographer and dynamic speaker showing
us a collection of his images. Allen is a great story teller and I’m sure we will have an enjoyable
evening.
Following that we have a number of speakers/workshop leaders lined up - Lorenzo from the Frame
Warehouse speaking on printing our images; Derek Applegarth on shooting in RAW format; and Wes
Bergen on photo editing. Other speakers are being planned. There will be a photographic topic for all
levels of interest.
Plus of course we have a number of theme nights and member showcases -so get those slide shows/
images ready for projection. This year we are making a more concentrated effort to provide image
comments in addition to scoring.
We also need to select Club images for Lions Gate Challenge and CAPA. Specific dates will be
announced as they become known.
With this email is a copy of the Club membership application form. Please complete it and mail it to
Don Horn or bring it to the first meeting.
