for her image, Whitewater Kayaker, in C.A.P.A's recent Digital Open Individual

Congratulations to Birt Nort, who was presented with a Lifetime Membership from the

CBPC.  At the first meeting of the year on September 15, Birt was honoured for his

longtime contribution to the club. Over the years, Birt has contributed in a number of

ways, such as:

•

building darkrooms at Camp Alexandra

•

promoting the club at various community events

•

judging, speaking and presenting at various meetings and workshops

•

sitting as a member of the Executive and as Chairperson of various committees

•

representing the club at numerous photo exhibitions

•

willingly sharing his knowledge with others and, most importantly,

•

inspiring and mentoring other  photographers

Thanks, Birt, for sharing your knowledge and expertise over the years. Your talent and

generosity have made an important contribution to the growth and success of our club.
