I have finally scheduled my two Vancouver Street Photography Workshops for 2019:
The workshops will be held from June 14th to 16th and from August 9th to 11th.
These workshops are usually $695 CAD, with an early bird discount of $100 that is available until January 31st, 2019 (bringing it down to $595).
I would like to offer an additional $100 off for all members of your club or organization, bringing the price down to $495 for your members until January 31st, 2019.
If this is something that you feel would be of value to your membership please pass it on. My workshops usually sell out, so I wanted to get these discounts out to all of the groups that I work with first.
Our next three speakers are not only National Geographic explorers but also photographers. I’ve listed our upcoming shows below and can send over more information if you’re interested. We can also provide CBPC members with a discount code, comp tickets for you to contest via social media, and comp tickets for you and your team to attend.
· February 27th – On The Trail of Big Cats with BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year award winner, Steve Winter
· March 12th – Ocean Soul with underwater photographer and author, Brian Skerry
· May 7th – View From Above with NASA Astronaut, Terry Virts

Hi Friends, I’m still enjoying our memories of Barkerville. And, I have to tell you, when people ask me about how it went, I either show them our book or the 10 pictures from each of you that we shared on our last night. The response is incredible, people pause, study the images, and take their time to think about each one and then respond thoughtfully. Your images really do have impact. Shortly after our workshop, I made a presentation to Lois’ club on making double exposures. I showed many of your images from our last night and the response was the same. People are amazed. And just today, Bea’s partner Detlef wrote on Facebook, “My wife Bea attended 2 of Dennis Ducklow and Chris Harris’ creative workshops and walked away with absolute excitement that re-ignited her passion for photography.”
Chris and I are so grateful for your responses to the workshops and for the images you are making. We feel privileged to be part of something very exciting.
Attached is a pdf that tells about our workshop offerings for 2019. Included at the end is the story of our Barkerville workshop, written by my daughter, Zoë. Have a look.
